Using EHT Trigger Based PPDU

  1. Select IEEE 802.11be MxN from the Quick Setups node.

  2. Set Generation Mode to EHT Trigger Based PPDU under the Waveform Setup node.

  3. Configure the allocation index for each 20-MHz subband under the Signal Configuration node. The EHT Trigger-Based PPDU may consist of more than one resource unit (RU) or multiple resource unit (MRU). (Refer to Table 36-35—RU Allocation subfield of specification IEEE P802.11be/D1.0.)

  4. Each RU/MRU (except the first one) can be set on or off individually, which is different from DL OFDMA in EHT MU PPDU. If it is off, the RU/MRU is not used for data transmission (only the preamble portion exists).

  5. Impairment parameters can be applied to the entire trigger-based PPDU bandwidth or to each individual user.
